It looks like I was lied to at least once and maybe twice this week by #LeapCard staff.
A month of trying to change auto-topup from AIB to Revolut, they finally sent me the €0.01 deposit to my Revolut. It's supposed to come with a reference you need to enter on their website. It didn't.
Phone Monday: "The system is down, phone tomorrow." Today: "The system is down, phone tomorrow."
I just don't believe the 2nd guy and phone back. 3rd person: "No problem, here you go." And it works. Hmm. 🤔

Heute gelernt: öpnv in Irland.
Für die Strecke Galway - Ballyvaughan (47 km) zahlt man mit "Bus Éireann" einfach 11,00 €, mit der leapcard 7,70 €. ☺️
Mit "Limerick Clare TCU" einfach 5,50 €, mit leapcard 3,90 €. 😯 Diese darf aber nicht von zwei Menschen gleichzeitig benutzt werden, bei Bus Éireann aber doch. Beide sind im Verbund TFI. Bei Rückfahrkarten wird es noch komplizierter 😵💫
(leapcard ist eine Bezahlkarte mit Preisnachlass für die Tickets)

I'm trying to think of another app that's as much of a pain to spend money on as the #LeapCard, and i can't come up with one. You really need my CVV for a €20 top-up - with my saved card? Then I get a popup from my bank that's only half on screen because it's not optimised for mobile.

How long does it take to replace a Leap Card? I've finally had to replace mine after 7-8 years, and there's no sign of it 3 weeks after I requested a replacement.
