Lately I've been watching/listening to a lot of content about #ComprehensibleInput regarding #LanguageAcquisition . What's been tripping me up is that most content creators say the Goldilocks range is knowing 95-98% of the words and then a few minutes later they say that you should only be highlighting unknown words once every page or two. If each page has 250-750 words and 2-5% of words on the page are unknown, the MATH says 4-40 words on each page are unknown.

I'm David, I'm 41 and I live in Valencia (Spain).

Languages are my passion and my goal here on Mastodon is to practice them by writing and reading and to learn and exchange information about how to learn them better.
