Today is the day when Coroner Alexander Ho delivers his findings regarding the death of little Lachie Jones.
Anyone who followed Melanie Reid's excellent "Boy in the Water" podcast will know that Police stuffed up, causing a grave miscarriage of justice. It's largely Mel's tenacity which brought about the new hearing.
My gut feeling is that Lachie's half-brother stuck him in the freezer, then he & Mum covered up the death by dumping the little guy in the oxidation ponds. On reading the Coroner's draft findings, Lachie's half-brother immediately engaged a lawyer.
Hopefully today is the day Lachie finally receives some justice.
