I’ve reached the midway point! I’ve gotten a whopping 24 reps out of it. Technically, I can squeeze out another rep, but I didn’t weigh my yarn before CO, so this is the safest route 😃

When I knit a lace scarf, I usually end up counting stitches to make sure I've got the pattern right. I can feel my shoulders relax when I start counting and the stitches pass from one needle to another.

Numbers are soothing to me. Sometimes I count primes starting at 1 to pass the time in queues or while on hold.

Is it the knitting or the counting that makes me relax?

I know I'm a perfectionist about lace patterns and it grinds my gears when I have a mistake. There's a mistake in this piece of yarn where I repeated row 3 twice but I have to search for it, so I don't expect anyone else to be able to instantly spot it. Do you see it? Do any non-knitters see it?
