Great video as always.
I always remember this technique after finishing a project. Maybe watching this video brings it more to the forefront?

Just thinking out loud (no, I'm not planning a new project, never, I just started one ...)
Generally: do have garter stitch mosaic knitting and normal garter stitch have the same row gauge?
I know, in the end I'll have to try it out myself, but I'd like to tap the hive mind on this. If there's no chance that this works together I just can send this idea sailing into the great sunset ...

Knitting I cords is tedious at best.
I'm not sure how good this technique actually works, but it sure looks very neat.

Does anyone know of a good online tutorial (photo or video) for how to catch floats on the purl row when you're knitting fairisle flat? I want to do the Bergen cardigan but some sections of the pattern will require catching several floats and I've not done that knitting flat before. #knitting #knittingtechniques

My new favorite double increase.
I learned it from a YouTube video a week ago or so, but can't find the video again.
It's done into a single stitch: right lifted increase, knit through back loop, left lifted increase. It's important to make the lifted increases into the "front", the v part of the stitch below, not into the horizontal part on the backside of the work.
I think it's as invisible as a double increase can be.

Today I learned about a new technique - picking up sts along the side without a ridge on the "wrong" side of the work.
Great to know for the next time I knit something that has two outsides like a scarf or the folded collar of a cardigan.

My favorite bind off technique - double bond off or Coast Salish double bind off or Cowichan bind off are the names I've seen for this technique.
It's basically two parallel lines of normal bind off, interconnected after each stitch. Sounds complicated, but it's only a bit fiddly.
I like it, because it's stretchy but also stable. It's completely flat and it looks very clean.
