#Knirps got his throne upgraded.
This is the "compact" version and it barely fits into our not that small car. I don't remember kid seats being so huge, but then they also didn't rotate or have Isofix bases in my days.
Also attaching Isofix hardware is not like in the instructional videos where some smiling parent easily lifts the seat in and it just goes click. There's a lot more wrestling, swearing and sweating involved.

After #Knirps goes to sleep, I get some quiet time where I can use my brain if there's any juice left in it.
Last few nights I've been running around our old house with a tape measure and digitizing rooms, windows, doors and furniture in Sweet Home 3D so we can figure out some stuff, like which exact windows and what dimensions to order.
Stroller size is perceived rather than actual, based on how much in the way it gets, the rest is to scale :)

Snowing all day outside, time for some winter jobs.
Like replacing the broken zipper on my work jacket. Some difficulties remembering the finer details of sewing machine tweaking, not helped by #Knirps screaming loudly into my ear.
Didn't result in the neatest job, seam not straight and I stretched the fabric vs the unyielding zipper, but just fine for a jacket that's already sampled blotches of epoxy, polyester, varnish and a variety of sealants.
Picked a larger zipper in hopes of being more robust. Onto the next 10 years, favourite medium-weight work jacket!
