  5. @star
Content warnings are rare and getting rarer. If you want to avoid some subjects, then you might have better luck filtering hashtags and keywords (Preferences/Filters).

  6. I won't link to any of it. All the articles are just "Dear Leader is innocent", disgusting conservative media (all).
EVEN IF IT WAS TRUE that they just got 1M "new" docs - they are LYING about how long it takes to #release.
    1) Hire two dozen #discovery #attorneys, working weekends. 2) give them DISCO or other discovery solution #software, proper #keywords & instruction. After 3-4 days, they'll have a short list to show stakeholders, & after 5-7, #documents should start being released.

  7. @kajer you need pipeline but also real time sentiment ranking, checksums for all files seen, cve, ioc - all of a sudden you went from stodgy siem to real world noc

i like the topic even though i do look at it sarcastically

i think you want combinatorials of top 10 db and real time #mentions I think you are going to get people in federated enclaves to join together and work on problems but also make a typical image - everybody can optimize and get vbetter by sharing there will be a representative manifest of sw that will vary by sector #thomas register ocr scan and convert into semantic/vectordb/graphs #rss #solr #keywords #page rank...it reminds me of the site that correlates ip to domains and more - great osint info if found to be true - how do you advertise and make the site have rev streams - you cab advertise to people trolling the sector - you need a template bots and spiders, get all the info you can and cache sites and then get it into a db - the real time part is basically a tagcloud #i ching #book of changes #backlinks

  11. 🎩 Ah, should we quake before the mighty #Microsoft, the #tech #overlord plotting to take over our #digital lives? Or just chuckle as we scroll through an article pretending to be #journalism, buried under a mountain of #random #keywords and pointless headings? 😂 Fear not—just another day in the world of pseudo-tech paranoia! 🖥️

  12. Hallo zusammen

  13. @Howard Howard, following 'hashtags as contacts' as I do by use of hashtag.place works very good!

I created a 'relay user' on my (#Friendica) instance and since a few month I use this user for adding/following hashtags via hashtag.place and (just a few) good bot accounts.

I find it advantageous that only my relay user is 'friends' with the hashtags, the subscribed tags, or better: the posts above them) are available throughout my entire instance.

And yet I don't 'mess up' the contact list on my regular account 'slowblogger'.

I don't know exactly whether it works the same way on mastodon systems, but actually it should work in a similar way.

It's worth trying this out. As well as putting enough (good & detailed) hashtags in your own posts or answers.

  14. @binbows 🥺 but...
but it makes #keywords stick out more against the #wallOfText that people usually write in.

It makes me #AuHD brain happier to see variation in font family and colour.

  15. It's all Google's fault for making people write endless crap just to cram as many seemingly relevant #keywords as they can so they can better #monetize their #content.

  16. CW: [Hot takes on justification of surveillance; CW: child abuse]

In my opinion, every software that takes as input thoughts of users (e.g. search engines, "smart" assistants, etc.) ought to scan for suicide-related #keywords. This is effective and not hard to implement (since companies are already obliged by law to search for other keywords or "copyright violations"). Protection of people CAN and SHOULD be done completely without people mining -- even better, completely offline and without tracking, which would hinder building profiles.

Yet, we should NEVER praise companies and capitalists for doing Good sometimes. Capitalism one of the worst cause why more and more people have horrible lives and fall into depression. Doing above things is the LEAST capitalists should do (if they don't abolish themself). But doing GOOD can never be a justification for doing BAD. The means don't justify the ends.

  17. CW: [Hot takes on justification of surveillance; CW: child abuse]

    Two arguments in the docu:

    - #Google should include actually helpful "Ads" if someone enters suicide-related #keywords.
    - If #surveillance had prevented a (concrete case of) #suicide attempt, it was justified.

The first is totally right of course! (I'll discuss this more in the next toot though.)

However, point two is THE typical legitimisation of surveillance. This is just one disguise among many (e.g. CSAM scanning, "terrorism", "fake news", "extremism", etc.).

Here are two immediate counter arguments:

    - People mining is not needed; some kind of key-word scanning is effective and efficient.
    - The data about MH *will* be abused. This is the nature of #surveillanceCapitalism Rather than for these disguises, data has more often be abused (by capitalists, secret "services", rouge states, etc.)
