Driving up to #KDVT this morning to theoretically take our club's new airplane out for my first time.
Last night it apparently had a nighttime bird strike at 6,000ft, over the mountains north of Phoenix.
The pilot flying said it made a feathery mess but there's no damage (poor bird!), but I'll see what I see when I get there
