Years and years ago I was doing a shoot for the Thai tourism authority and at the time they didn't get any favors from Thai Airways. So when they had to buy me a ticket to fly to Thailand they made darned sure that I was enrolled as a frequent flyer with Thai to at least collect the points.
And that turned out to be one of the most fabulous unintended consequences of my career. Because it turns out that Thai Airways have the most amazing FF program imaginable.
