I never heard of #junix, but I think I can guess what it is. Is there any more info ?
Anyway, if my guess on what #junix is, you can play nethack for #junethack on your unix system as part of #junix :)

It just hit me: #Junethack is right around the corner! I'm not sure I'll have the energy to participate this year, but if any of my followers need a reason to dust off their #NetHack skills, there's your reason to do so.

Signed up for Junethack (https://junethack.net). I've played a lot of Nethack in my life (fairly poorly) but I've never done anything like one of these, so we'll see how it goes!

Registration for the annual month-long #NetHack tournament is now open: https://junethack.net/ It features a number of "forks" (alternative versions of the game), so it's a great opportunity to explore the world of NetHack. And you don't need to be in a hurry to register: even if you do it on the last day of the month, all your public games will still be counted towards your score and trophies.
It's some serious fun, don't miss it!

It's a tradition: today is the 10th day of June, and only now do I remember about #Junethack. It's a yearly #NetHack tournament that lasts the entire month and features a number of forks (20 this year). Gonna play as part of SmileMold again, if they let me (and if I can muster enough energy). Perhaps this year I finally ascend?

Just like utility providers here are surprised by the snow every December, I'm again surprised by #Junethack in June >_< At least I'm getting better at remembering about it; last year it took me full two weeks!

My 5 game #nethack win streak is over. After ascending a Healer, Valkyrie, Barbarian, Rogue, and Priest all in a row, my Samurai was struck down by a dastardly pair of soldier ants in Minetown. All in all, I'm happy with a 5 win streak since I have never even gotten 2 in a row before.
