  5. Job growth in the U.S. has slowed sharply. From strong monthly gains in 2022–2024 to just +130K in January 2026. Economic momentum matters — and leadership choices have consequences. The numbers tell the story. #JobsReport #USJobs #Economy #LaborMarket #Accountability

  6. When #DonnieDumbass fired the head of the #BLS b/c he didn't like the numbers she reported ("They MUST be wrong!"), the #JobsReport was put on hold for several months and we had to rely on PRIVATE jobs reports to know what was going on.

The most trusted was "Challenger, Gray & Christmas".

While the "official" report claims "surprising job growth" in January, CGC is reporting "Most job cuts since The Great Recession" of 2009, and "The Worst January" hiring EVER.

    EVER.

  7. The #DonTheCon Administration released a "better than expected" jobs report.

And I dare question if his new head of the #BLS is cooking the books???

Where on Earth could I *possibly* get an idea like that??? #DictatorDon #CantBelieveAWord #Unemployment #JobsReport

Strongest #JobGrowth in More Than a Year?
    🤔🤔🤔

That’s the headline. But it’s not the story.

The story is in the walk‑back: what was trumpeted as 584,000 new jobs in 2025 has now been cut down to just 181,000 for the entire year.

That’s not a revision. It’s an audit of fantasy.

An #economy of 330 million people effectively spent a year standing still, averaging about 15,000 #jobs a month, the weakest hiring outside a recession since 2003.

  11. Shocking jobs data stuns FOX Business, revealing cracks in optimistic economic narratives. John Amato reports just 22K jobs added in August vs. 75K expected, with unemployment rising to 4.3%. Host Cheryl Casone and Lauren Simonetti note private and government job losses deepen the grim picture. Even pro-Trump analyst Charles Payne admits the weakness. 12. U.S. President Trump says he will nominate E.J. Antoni, chief economist for the Heritage Foundation, to replace Erika McEntarfer, the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics who he fired last week after a disappointing jobs report.
"Antoni, a contributor to the Project 2025 policy rubric, has been a longtime skeptic of BLS data. On [Steve] Bannon’s podcast last week, Antoni called for McEntarfer to be fired shortly before Trump pulled the trigger," NBC reports.

  13. U.S. President Trump's influence over government data came to the fore last week, when he fired Erika McEntarfer, the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. But behind the scenes, his administration's actions have left data gaps in everything from HIV stats to how many people work for the federal government. Here's more from NBC.
