Was saying to partner who is working again on learning French, the thing you really have to do to get going as a beginner is to accept a) You can't just literally translate things. b) There are rules that are 'just because', and that's the way it is - the same exists in English too, it's just you know them from copying and not thinking about it. Like 'the big, brown, smelly jobby' and not 'the brown, smelly, big jobby' etc. #francais #french #languagelearning #language #anglais #jobby
