That said, she recently posted her reaction video of A View to a Kill and that film happens to be Moore’s final movie as Agent 007. In my honest opinion, Roger Moore was at his best as Bond in 1981’s For Your Eyes Only before everything went downhill with his last two 007 flicks. #2 Sega Lord X examines Bram Stoker’s Dracula on Sega CD – When Bram Stoker’s Dracula (directed by Francis Ford Coppola) was released in cinemas worldwide in 1992, there was a lot of marketing for it and its presence through local media was felt. The same cannot be said about the official video game adaptations which was limited to video game-related publications. Among those video games was the Sega CD game of Bram Stoker’s Dracula which was somewhat ambitious in design connected with its use of full-motion video and digitized elements for the 2D side-scrolling gameplay. In his retrospective video, Sega Lord X offers viewers a close look at Bram Stoker’s Dracula on Sega CD which is engaging to watch.

#3 When Michael Jordan taught the Orlando Magic a big lesson – Remember back in 1995 when Michael Jordan came out of retirement to significantly boost the Chicago Bulls? The Bulls won 13 of the 17 remaining regular season games with Jordan and they reached as far as the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the 1st-seeded Orlando Magic. #4 A look at Hong Kong – Have you ever visited Hong Kong? There is this YouTube video about the city and there are many real-life elements and locations that are unique to see. Back in the 1990s, Hong Kong was also known for its neon lights shown during nights and the city itself became the visual inspiration for the fictional New Port City in the Ghost in the Shell anime feature film of 1995. There is a lot to learn about Hong Kong in the video below.

It is the reaction in which two or more light atomic nuclei combine to form a single heavier nucleus, releasing a massive amount of energy in the process. As of now, nuclear fusion is being developed in Japan and the Japanese are investing a massive amount of over three trillion Yen on it. Even though it flopped big-time, it did not n necessarily destroy Willis’ career and the film somehow gained a cult following. There are also some film buffs online who admitted even enjoying it. Les Comanches faisaient partie des tribus guerrières les plus reconnues, leur habileté à cheval n’avait pas d’égale. Pas de chevaux dans ce film, on se concentre, franchise oblige, sur l’opposition entre guerriers terrestres et extraterrestres. Simpliste mais efficace, ce film est le cinquième opus d’une franchise qu’on peut adorer ou détester. On ne peut pas, par contre, nier la qualité de certains des films. Le premier « Predator » est une référence du film d’action, selon moi, pour plusieurs raisons, la première étant son réalisateur John McTiernan, qu’on retrouvera des années plus tard pour ce qui est, pour moi, la meilleure scène d’ouverture de film de tous les temps dans « Une journée en enfer » (Die Hard with a Vengeance), une masterclass inégalée.

Une réalisation professionnelle et accessible

Le réalisateur de ce film, sans lui faire offense, ne peut pas être comparé à son aîné cité précédemment ; il n’en demeure pas moins que le travail réalisé pour Prey est très professionnel et artistiquement cohérent. Le spectateur n’ayant aucune connaissance de l’univers dont il est question pourra apprécier le film autant que le fan invétéré, c’est à souligner, car certaines franchises ne se donnent pas la peine, ou maladroitement, de traiter les films d’une franchise en les rendant accessibles au plus grand nombre. Le récit est donc tout à fait abordable pour quiconque.

L’importance de l’expérience visuelle et sonore

Les images qui s’offrent à nous sont toutes soignées et servent le propos et surtout le contexte du film et des personnages. La construction globale du récit et la mise en images se dispensent de dialogues longs et inutiles ; les images se suffisent à elles-mêmes. L’ambiance sonore est elle aussi très réussie et contribue pleinement au visionnage et à l’immersion. Il ne s’agit pas là d’un film à voir en sourdine, l’appréciation ne peut se faire qu’à haut volume, car l’environnement sonore est une partie prépondérante dans l’appréciation du spectacle qui nous est proposé.

Quelques regrets mineurs pour un film réussi

Le seul regret qu’on peut avoir est qu’à certains moments, peu, les effets spéciaux ne sont pas vraiment à la hauteur et c’est dommage, mais pas rébarbatif. Cela ne gâche en rien la qualité générale du film, mais on aurait apprécié ne pas avoir ce petit défaut dans ce qui s’avère être une réussite qualitative dans la saga Predator.

Conditions optimales de visionnage

Il n’en reste pas moins que notre attention est captive du début à la fin. Il faut, pour le comprendre, avoir visionné ce film comme dans une salle de cinéma avec le moins de lumières parasites possible et dans un silence de cathédrale, car l’ambiance sonore est indispensable à l’appréciation et à l’immersion.

Une expérience cinématographique à privilégier

Vous l’aurez compris, ce film est à voir dans l’obscurité et avec un volume conséquent.
