It seems the anarchy in the territories and the murderous violence of Jews against Palestinians is bringing Israel closer to an imposed solution / internationalization / sanctions. This is what he and others are trying to prevent. It seems to me they woke up too late.

On Thursday night, March 14, 2025, dozens of armed Israeli settlers attacked the Palestinian community of Khirbet al-Marajem near #Duma in the occupied West Bank, Nablus Governorate.
According to resident testimonies, approximately 40 settlers, some in uniform and armed, attacked around 11:30 PM. Three homes and one car were burned. Two Palestinian infants were removed from a home during the attack. The Israeli military was present but made no arrests. No casualties were reported, but homes were severely damaged.
The village is located near a new outpost called Gal Yosef, which was established after the war on land previously occupied by the al-Rashash community. That community was entirely displaced at the beginning of the war following settler violence.

Duma's council head, Hussein Dawabsheh, noted this was "the latest in a series of criminal acts, with the support of the Israeli government and army."
The town has a painful history - in 2015, an arson attack by settlers killed three members of the Dawabsheh family, including a toddler (the Duma arson attack). Amiram Ben-Uliel was convicted of three counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder, three counts of arson and conspiring to commit a racially motivated crime as part of a "terrorist act" and sentenced to life imprisonment.
A week before this attack, Rabbi Arik Ascherman was arrested and removed from the area for 15 days after trying to prevent settlers from taking a Palestinian sheep.

An Israeli rescue organization said two settlers were also injured in the incident.
Meir, one of the left-wing activists who arrived at the school, told Haaretz: "We were summoned to the scene and when we got there there were around ten young settlers, some with covered faces and baseball bats, and they attacked the school. As soon as they saw us, they attacked us - one activist was struck in the back and face, and I and another activist also received blows and were knocked to the ground amidst a flurry of curses.

Two suspects, David Chai Hasdai and Hillel David Ben Shoshan, were arrested on Tuesday and their detention extended for a week by a Jerusalem court. The pair are suspected of attacking five Palestinian women near the Givat Ronen illegal outpost in the occupied West Bank on Friday.
The incident, which reportedly involved physical assault and arson, left the women with injuries. One of the victims, Nufa'a Alaga'ar, reported suffering broken bones and severe trauma. "We experienced a nightmare," she said. "There were at least 20 people involved. How can they say they only arrested two?"
The suspects, both known "hilltop youth" (Jewish terrorists who subscribe to #kahanism) in the area, are facing charges of assault and arson with nationalist motives. After the murder of 14-year-old Binyamin Achimeir from the Malakhei Hashalom outpost, Israeli civilians perpetrated numerous violent attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank on April 12 and 13. The attacks resulted in two Palestinian men being shot and killed, dozens more wounded, over 20 homes torched, and many vehicles damaged or destroyed. While some may attribute this violence to spontaneous grief over Achimeir's killing, evidence suggests that the attacks were orchestrated and carried out by groups of masked individuals who passed through army jeeps without hindrance.
In today's editorial in Haaretz it is argued that these attacks are part of a larger pattern of organized violence used by Israeli settlers to displace Palestinians from their land. The author contends that this violence is deliberate and planned, with the goal of expelling Palestinians from their homeland. The article concludes by calling on the majority in Israel - civilians and institutions alike - to stop enabling and agreeing with this violence, as it is being done in Israel's name.

An Israeli group called Shlom Asiraich (שלום אסירייך) is raising tax-exempt funds from Americans to support Jewish extremists convicted of hate crimes in Israel. Beneficiaries include Yosef Chaim Ben David, convicted of abducting and killing a 16-year-old Palestinian boy in Jerusalem in 2014, and Yitzhak Rabin's assassin and people convicted in deadly attacks on Palestinians.
The group is collecting donations through a U.S. nonprofit, allowing people to donate by credit card and claim a tax deduction. Using a U.S. proxy makes fundraising easier for Shlom Asiraich, but raises legal and ethical questions. The NGO registered as a nonprofit in #Israel in 2020 and has founders linked to terrorist attacks directed at Palestinians.
It's unusual for extremist Jewish groups in Israel to fundraise in the U.S. Shlom Asiraich appears to have followed the playbook of the racist anti-Arab Kach group. Legal experts say supporting families of terrorists could be seen as encouraging criminal activity. The IRS refused to comment on the case.
Shlom Asiraich was registered by an aide to a senior minister in Israel's new far-right government. He denies being the group's legal advisor. The Israeli government appointed Zvi Sukkot as the new chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee (ועדת החוץ והביטחון), which supervises the activities of the Shin Bet.
The chairman of the committee is considered one of the most senior figures in the Israeli security system, and reports on most of the activities of the security system, and as such, considered one of the most prestigious in the Knesset.
Sukot is a member the "Religious Zionist Party", but was the executive director of far-right Jewish-supremacist "Otzma Yehudit party", and representative of the terror group "The Revolt".
