This is giving me flashbacks to that time when Clint Eastwood gave a whole speech in dialog with an empty chair/invisible Obama. These people just get so wrapped up in their own anxiety-driven idea of the nature of their enemies that they'll just manifest an enemy themselves. So much easier than contending with the reality-based community!
