Things I've done for new years: pulled my 10-years-mothballed steel frame and carbon fiber forked #jamis #touringbikes #bike out of storage and dropped it at the bike shop for a complete overhaul. Sad old lady needs everything up to and possibly including her seat replaced but my beloved promised to #rideAcrossMichigan in August and while I'm not promising to do that ride I'll go shares with him on lots of his training rides. I used to bike commute in winter. I actively enjoyed riding cold. I figure if I manage to sort gear and ride a couple of times a month in the next 3 months by the time spring comes it'll be a joy to get in the saddle. (Yes, I'm a masochist, what's your point?)

Пришла мне пора менять систему. С двухподвеса кросскантрийника #Jamis Dakar XC уходить на хардтейл. Сломался неделю назад во время подъёма в гору.

Треснуло нижнее перо справа у каретки. И это неустранимый инженерный брак, так как в прошлом году было ровно тоже самое (и в той же местности). Гарантия производителя покрывает эту неприятность и мне теперь просто возвращают деньги из 2017 года, а я считаю, что бесплатно покатался на двухподвесе.
