I'm getting to a point where I can only use #Arch and nothing else.
Even Fedora, which has been a second favorite for a while now...I install it, I come accross even the slightest difficulty - which is rare! - and my brain immediately fires "Just install Arch and spare yourself the trouble, for God's sake!"
Arch is stupid simple. I don't get why it's always sold as a non-friendly distro.

If you use Arch, avoid updating Aur packages for right now. If you've updated in the past couple of days, you may have malware.

For some reason, performance was a let down. Don't know why, animations were showing a lot of dropped frames, were slow - even though I accelerated them via the settings app... the experience wasn't good.
Format disk. manually installed Arch+KDE Plasma (again).
Happy (again).

As someone who has used Arch for many many years I am actually proud I found a distribution that fits my needs. No longer do I need to maintain my own build. CachyOS has done it right, and is rock solid for my needs. Whether it works for you is fully dependent on your workflow though, so it may not be for everyone. For me it's a chefs kiss, and if that changes I can always go back to Vanilla Arch. #cachyos #archlinux #Iusearchbtw #DidImentionIUseArchBtw #Foss #Linux #Digitalfreedom
