"Issam was the sweetest colleague. He let me take a kitten I was nursing on assignment once, and made it a bed in his helmet. But he always reminded me, whenever I got careless: “Our goal is to cover the news, not become it”. I am so sorry this happened to you my dear Issam. RIP."

A #Reuters news #videographer has been killed while working in southern #Lebanon, @Reuters said in a statement on Friday.
"We are deeply saddened to learn that our videographer, Issam Abdallah, has been killed," the stmnt said.
#IssamAbdallah was part of a Reuters crew in southern Lebanon who was providing a live video signal.
