In other #iPhone news, my wake-up alarm worked fine this morning when I had the phone on the magsafe stand in vertical/normal mode. Hmm. I'm going to NOT touch any settings at all, but once again put it into magsafe standby mode (horizontal orientation) tomorrow to see if it still screws up the alarm.
Seriously though. This worked about a week ago - I saw a snooze/stop button on the horizontal display. Is the FOCUS mode ("Sleep") causing it? No idea what changed. #ios #ioshelp #iphonehelp

A technical question for you if you:
• Use an iPhone 8
• Run iOS 16.7.8
• Use Apple Earbuds
• Listen to the New York Times Audio appUnlike other audio apps, I cannot pause or play NYT Audio programs by pinching my earbuds. I have to play and pause from the screen. That seems like such a fundamental functionality! I wonder if my device is too old.
