signal boosting from the Information Society Facebook page because I know there's InSoc fans around the SDF and Fedi that don't truck with Meta dumpsters;
Kurt will be doing a Twitch stream interview/music-listening party Monday night, March 17th, at 6pm Pacific time. He's taken 17 of his favorite songs and will talk about them with host Randall Erkelens. Now is your chance to be confused by what Kurt's favorite music is.

Today seems like a nice day to fly to Chicago to see Information Society.
-
Seriously, for the amount of times I've bought this album the band should give me a punch card or something.
(Not shown: all the additional "you have to hear this" copies I loaned/gave away over the years.)

So, what's your favorite song released in #1988?

this new #insoc album, ODDfellows, is definitely them, distilled even. it harkens back to sounds from throughout their discography and even has a few new tricks that verge on jazzy. it's found a happy home in my collection and will be seeing many repeat plays in the future.
