I wish that I could export an archive as a #torrent, so that I don't have to restart if I fail downloading a 4GB file. It's PeerTube, after all. Similarly, I wish that I had an option to just use the metadata and upload the video file anew in a case like this where the synchronization isn't working for some reason. On a positive note, my new instance seems to allow me to put peertube.wtf/@caten in my #Mastodon profile and have it show up as verified, whereas before I had to use something like https://peertube.wtf/a/caten/video-channels instead in order for that function to work.

Ça serait vraiment bien si quelqu'un de motivé·e se lançait dans le partage d'œuvres pour ENFANTS (vous savez, ces petites choses à deux ou quatre pattes qui deviennent des adultes).
Parce que l'offre torrent est franchement très mauvaise. De manière générale, ce qui est pour les enfants, n'est pas bien représenté du tout. Les fiches Wikipédia manquent, les torrents sont introuvables, les archives d'Anna ont des trous béants dans les collections pour enfant.
Si je savais faire ça purée, je remplirai le répertoire français, et tant pis si trois pelés téléchargent les œuvres en question. Ça va être perdu à jamais. À part Pat' Patrouille et autre géant du genre, la plupart des dessins animés pour enfant disparaissent complètement du paysage audiovisuel. Je parle même pas des livres ! Quelle perte !

Would I dare asking if we now have good (and clean) websites where #torrent files are made available, without the tons of add, trackers and malware that we had "when I was young" ? 😂
Or is the only option to search and block all the nasty content on the usual filthy websites?

Sigo usando descargas torrent en 2026, pero por supuesto desde plataformas verificadas, como 1337x, si ya tienes algún grado de paranoia/ <3 por la privacidad, una VPN no vendría mal. Aunque esporádicamente uso rtorrent, también me amparo de Qbittorent.

After the sad demise of World of Spectrum, there's never been a better time to help leeching and seeding zxart as a preservation safe.
