Weil ich es dieses Wochenende ausprobieren konnte:Regensburg ist ziemlich gut mit skates zu Durchqueren. Natürlich gibt es wie überall die üblichen Problem-Beläge aber sie hielten sich auf den Strecken die ich gefahren bin, dann doch in Grenzen.
War super angenehm und mache ich beim nächsten Mal auf jeden Fall wieder.

Just wanted it to be known that that long-distance Empire group skate from Manhattan to Jones Beach on Saturday… one of the skaters said forget the train, I'm skating back home. And he rolled a clean 100 miles.

Empire has a fun #GroupSkate planned for Sunday, May 31. We will be rolling the Bronx River Parkway during the hours when it is closed to traffic. Meet up is at the Westchester County Center in White Plains at 11 a.m., close to the Metro North station. We'll roll the parkway until about 1:30. Afterwards, some will do an extra skate up to the Kensico Dam and back. Details on the Empire calendar at

Für den World Inline Cup Einsiedeln am Samstag, 27. Juni 2026 suchen wir noch freiwillige Helfer*innen 🛼
Die Einsätze sind je nach Aufgabe ungefähr zwischen 10:00 und 22:00 Uhr. Wenn du eine längere Anreise hast, wird natürlich geschaut, dass es für dich nicht zu spät wird. Hierfür bitte einfach bei der Anmeldung Bescheid geben.
Die Swiss Skate Tour ist non-profit und solche Events sind nur dank freiwilligen Helfenden, Spenden und sponsorenden Firmen möglich 🙌
Für Helfende gibt es eine kostenlose Mahlzeit vom vietnamesischen Foodtruck inklusive veganen Optionen, ein Helfer*innen T-Shirt und viele tolle Begegnungen 🤩
Ich habe über solche Events schon Freundschaften geschlossen. Mich kann eins dort auch kennenlernen 😂

Whoa. So our comments about re-surfacing on the north end of the #CentralPark loop on Sunday? We discovered on Monday that the 102nd St service road had also been resurfaced. So all you slackers (cough!) who have been avoiding rolling "cut-off loops" because of crappy asphalt, your excuse is no longer accepted!

Whoa, the wind aside, Sunday May 3 was a beautiful day for #InlineSkating in #NYC.
And to cap it off, as we were closing out a day of rolling 100k, we discovered that the north 1/3 of the #CentralPark loop has been resurfaced! Apparently so very recently that they haven't started re-striping the lanes yet.

I went for a short round of inline skating today, and I got a thumbs up from a random guy. Yesterday I had the same during running. Now I am wondering if it is the same guy, that would be funny.

Remember, the BAR #GroupSkate weekend is Jul 30-Aug 2 this year, or Jul 27-Aug 2 if you include the special edition weekly group skates in advance.

@ralpho Bin auch dafür, dass Rollschuhe, Inlineskates und Skateboards endlich als vollwertige Fahrzeuge auf den Straßen fahren dürfen. 🛼 🛹
Aber Kinder mit Laufrad oder beim Radfahren-Lernen sollten nur in echten Spielstraßen auf die Fahrbahn.
Und größere Kinder nur dann, wenn die Blechpiloten endlich wirklich langsam und angepasst fahren – aber das ist aktuell in DE nicht mal auf Fahrradstraßen der Fall, geschweige denn in Zone 30 oder Anliegerstraßen u.ä.
