I'll admit… this one is kind of silly. IMO, they're different art forms in the same medium. It's like forcing a choice between the Haka and ballet. Poetry is intensely personal for me, more like music. Poetry expresses the inexpressible, prose communicates the depth and passion. I like to think that my best work mixes of both.
