From 3 years ago: Talking about #rebooting the #openweb been trying to work with/away from the #geekproblem of overcomplexity and #stupidindividualism build it from scratch/pointlessness. I have been trying to work building open projects agensts the flow of closed #incryptionists for 20 years. I can't express what a relief mastodon (activertypub) has been, it's a weight off my shoulders and a opportunity to put the pointless last 10 years of tech behind us and move on.
