Musical Interlude: OK, here's something a bit goofy but different. Les Baxter was an American composer who did a lot of film soundtracks but also was a pioneer of the "exotica" movement. He composed a suite called "The Passions" with vocalizations by trained cantor Bas Sheva, that was a huge dud in its time but today is recognized as avant-garde and different, if not 100% successful. Here's a sample track from the suite...
