Finally settling in to learn the ins and outs of my sewing machine and 1. The speed can be adjusted!!!! I can make it slow. 2. You don't have to use the foot petal, it has a regular stop/start button on the front that you can just press.
That solves like 90% of the issues I had previously run into with sewing. I get overwhelmed so easily and my muscles/joints get upset over the littlest things, so I honestly wasn't sure I'd be able to do much sewing at all? Turns out there are easier ways of doing nearly everything that simply I wasn't told about as a kid and the "bad at this" assumption I made was based on LIES.
I'm so excited let's do this.
