It's the Day of Hermes aka Mercurius Day aka #Wednesday!

#Hermes is following #Thetis in her chariot in the painting on this terracotta lekythos (oil flask), dated ca 500 BCE.
The scene may reflect a passage in book 24 of the #Iliad (lines 95-96) where Thetis is summoned to Mount Olympos and ordered by Zeus to convince her son Achilles to return the body of Hektor to Priamos.
