The biggest complaint I heard in the last two years of his presidency was, “He didn’t do anything.” I called bullshit on that argument then, and I call it now. He actually did a lot, but the oligarchic press ignored everything he did. I wish articles like this had been front page news in 2024.

They noticed how greedy and calloused millionaires had gotten filthy rich off of war industries, and related support companies. I’ve noticed how a certain class of investors pull a chunk of their resources to buy oil futures when the Strait closes and shifts back to the Dow when it opens. After we take back Congress this year, a high priority needs to be investigating war profiteers.

I am nearing a personal reckoning. If the idiot in the White House really wants to wage war on Americans, then it is war he shall have. What he’s done here in Los Angeles and in Washington, DC, is unconscionable. He appears to be preparing to cross a red line in Chicago. If he does, then war is the only option. I love Chicago. It is a beautiful city. I have friends there that I am worried about. I will stand with and defend Chicago however I can. Chicago may well be the flashpoint where we say NO to fascism.
