Every year, we offer our speakers, guest hosts, and core team members the option to convert their little thank-you payment/honorarium into a charity donation.
As a result, this year we made donations in their name to: NVDA, Earth Company, W3C, RNIB, NYPL's Andrew Heiskell Braille and Talking Book Library, OSCARs Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity, and the Open Source Design open collective.

I was hoping for more actual examples, but got some good nuggets out of the talk for our design system as well.

@brunoscheele @inclusivedesign24 wonder if we *might* grudgingly make the #id24 account monetised, *if* that gives us control over at least the frequency of adverts...

@brunoscheele @inclusivedesign24 probably both. the #id24 channel itself is a free, non-monetised one. and you not having a premium account probably also counts. FWIW despite some occasional nag screens and throttling, my ad blocker in chrome seems to do a reasonable job hiding most adverts from me...

Thanks to Kevin White on #id24 for clearly describing how WCAG 3 is organized, and why.
I'm convinced -- this is a much better approach, and worth the overhead.
