#icalender — Public Fediverse posts

I have a friend who plays gigs around the city. Because I find it hard to keep up with Instagram, I never know when his shows are and even miss out on ones that are close to where I live.

I'd like to propose a solution to him where he can enter event details into a system, and #iCalender feed subscribers get those details on their phones: Android and iOS.

Of course it has to be very easy to use.
