    Reality isn’t moral — it’s coherent.

    We live with layered boundaries: biological, social, cognitive, technological. An action can be “kind” to one boundary yet destructive at another.

    Boundary-Coherence Ethics asks a single question: Does this increase multi-scale coherence?

    This lets us reconcile hard choices — predator vs prey, local livelihoods vs planetary health, short-term pain vs long-term survival — and gives activists a shared metric: build coherence, reduce unnecessary incoherence.

    It also provides a gentle rule for AI and human teams: align phases, soften rigid edges, and prioritise interventions that stabilise many boundaries at once.
