Personally I applaud any FOSS developer willing to ask for financial help to make their projects better. FOSS should be community development, not martyrdom.
It's not a lot, but I just set up an anonymous monthly payment through Liberapay to put my money where my mouth is.
Thank you for all your amazing work on Fedilab (which I use daily) and HoloSocial (which I hope to use soon). Thankyou too for having the courage to ask, so I remember to help how I've meant to for far too long. What I'm paying doesn't nearly cover the value you provide me, but hopefully this encourages others to chip in and help, too. ❤️

Ok, dusting this off, likely it'll be a replacement for https://blog.taursnd.haus/profile/vextaur/conversations?category=family and https://blog.taursnd.haus/profile/vextaur/conversations?category=life , with an eye towards hosting my own #gotosocial in the future.
This might change, we'll see, if @[email protected] were to create a server app based on #holosocial or someone were to fork it to do that, I'd prolly go with that, especially if'n it was #android 4.x compatible. -

So, I use fedilab daily and currently don't use Hololab at all, BUT... HoloSocial is a fascinating project that could revolutionize selfhosted fediverse usage, especially in countries where phones are common and computers are rare. Accordingly, I'm personally happy to see work shared on both Fedilab (eg good for Fediverse now) and HoloSocial (good for Fediverse future). One of these days when I have some time, I'll definitely give HoloSocial a spin and see how its coming along!
