Die freie und ungestörte Ausübung der Religion ist ein Grundrecht, kein Gnadenakt und auch keine Medaille für "gut assimiliert".

Ein staatliches Kopftuchverbot ist niemals neutral. Es sagt den Muslimen, dass ihre Religion unerwünscht ist, es stigmatisiert und delegitimiert sie.
Das sehen insbesondere Schüler, wenn den Lehrerinnen das Kopftuch von Staats wegen verboten wird, wenn die Religionsausübung durch Muslime seitens des Staates eingeschränkt wird.
Der Staat verhält sich nicht neutral, sondern sendet eine Botschaft aus: "Ihr seid hier nicht willkommen. Wir wollen euch nicht."

Geht es nur um die WC-Nutzung, finde ich Unisex-WCs toll. Gerne mehr davon!
Aber muslimischen Frauen dient die Damen-Toilette bzw. der Vorraum mit Waschbecken und vor allem Spiegel oft auch als Möglichkeit, um ihren Hidschab zu richten, ohne dabei von Männern gesehen zu werden. Diese Frauen sollten bei der Planung nicht übersehen werden.

Österreich: "Mit dem neuen Schuljahr 2026/27 gilt für alle Schülerinnen unter 14 Jahren ein Gesetz, welches das Tragen von kopfbedeckender Kleidung nach islamischen 🧕 Traditionen in der Schule nicht erlaubt."
Das heißt, nach jüdischer 🧕 oder christlicher 🧕Tradition ist es erlaubt. Nur nicht nach muslimischer Tradition.
Es gibt ein Wort für diese Art Gesetzgebung. Wie heißt das nur? 🤔

First official Iranian government event where hijab is not compulsory.
