What makes it worse is that earlier this year I lost 12.8 kg (28 pounds/2 stone-ish). 2 kg have crept back on (well not so much crept as gobbled… craving crisps something awful…)

A public vote crowned Dawn the winner for gaining 2 kg (4.5 lbs) and reaching 5.9 kg (13 lbs). The Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory’s Marmot Project hosted the event to offset #research funding cuts, inspired by #Alaska’s #FatBearWeek.

Is there a simple way (i.e. not patching the kernel or similar funny business) to make the Linux Suspend-to-Disk hibernation turn off the computer as with a system shutdown poweroff. I.e. I don't want it to wake up from hitting a key on an input device; only actuating the power button should start it up again.
Since I also want to use Suspend-to-RAM (standby), waking up using input device key-press disabling the Wake-on-X in UEFI config isn't the option here.

The wave of inauthenticity is all-encompassing. I spent some four decades as a university teacher, with immense pride, only to see the very notion of teaching and education destroyed before my eyes. My friends in other professions experience the same.
I still hope for reversal.
