#Movies . . .
The 2nd movie that I saw today was #Nuremberg starring #RussellCrowe & #RamiMalek which is based on book about the relationship between an Army psychologist named Douglas Kelly (played by Malek) & #HermanGoring prior to & during the Nuremburg #WarCrime trials.
Kelly was assigned to assess the mental health of Goring & 21 other Nazi defendants. Kelly developed a close relationship with Goring. He's depicted in the movie was having unfettered & unsupervised access with Goring; spoke at length with him & took copious notes which he later used to write a book about them.
Kelly's unpopular premise was that the Nazis were "normal" people who did unthinkable things because the circumstances allowed to acted on their worst impulses & that such things could happen, given similar circumstances" even in America.
But McCarthyism in the 50's & Drumpfism in the 2020's suggests that he was absolutely right.
I liked this movie too & would also give it a 7 & will buy the DVD if/when it's released.
