The BALMAN mission was successfully performed today. At 4:00 UTC, the balloon was launched from the observation point "Colibri" near the Ariane 6 launch pad of the Centre Spatial Guyanaise in Kourou.

After reaching an altitude of 17.8 km the mission was terminated and the balloon impacted in the Atlantic Ocean, 42 km NE of Kourou.

The total flight time was 3 hours.

After some training performed at the Aire Sur L'Adour centre CNES is ready to test in flight for the first time the BALMAN steerable balloon.

The test will ake place at the Centre Spatial Guyanaise in French Guiana between Oct. 30 and Nov. 15.

Hier soir, le groupe #Snatch a remis une pièce dans le jukebox sur #Hensoldt France. La revendication avait initialement été publiée le 30 octobre 2022. Mais il y a plus intéressant.
Mi-août 2022, Hensoldt indiquait que sa filiale 🇫🇷 était victime d'une #cyberattaque. Hensoldt France s'appelle #Nexeya.
Le groupe Snatch a récemment recyclé une autre revendication : celle d'un vol de données chez #Hemeria. La revendication initiale remonte à avril 2022.
En août 2022, j'avais demandé à Hensoldt s'il pouvait y avoir un lien entre la #cyberattaque subie par Hemeria et celle menée contre Nexeya.
C'était donc 2 mois avant que Snatch ne revendique la cyberattaque contre Nexeya. A l'époque, le service de presse de Hensoldt m'avait répondu : "nous ne savons pas si cette attaque est liée de quelque manière que ce soit à l'intrusion chez Hemeria".
Je viens de poser à nouveau cette question. Avec le recul et l'enquête, la réponse aura peut-être évolué 🤷‍♂️

#Snatch has listed French defence/space company #Hemeria. Or, more accurately, relisted. The company was initially listed in in April 2022, but Snatch were suckered by stalling tactics and presumably unsuccessful in their attempts to sell the data.
