    5) Now I am free of deadlines for projects for the year, I can get on with building my filament changer
    6) I really ought to finish building my RC off road robot chassis from earlier in the year (needed a higher torque motor which didn't fit the chassis I built for robotic series).

  3. Alright! Things finally all fit together!

  4. I have the start of a drive train. All modelled using dimensions I have actually measured now my parts orders have started to arrive.

  6. What I learned from last nights experiments:
    - Fan on the ESC is much louder than the brushless motor it is driving.
    - All the nice CNC alloy parts I ordered are smaller than the 3D printed parts I planned to substitute them for.
Looks like I’ll have a set of parts suitable for a size robot for the future, but too small for my A2 class

  8. @rpimag I started CAD work on my first fully autonomous robot. An A2 class to compete in the robotics racing series event in April. I am starting with a 4WD suspension based on the car V5 design by linktr.ee/CreativeElectronics adapted to be an off roader.
