Doing a bit of stargazing after a gorgeous sunset in Boston. Around 10:00-10:01 there was an explosion, bright light. I thought maybe firework. That’s still possible, I guess, but I was looking in that direction when the light and then sound reached Savin Hill. Nothing pretty just like a flash bang. From my perspective it was out in the direction of Longwood/Mission Hill. Anyone know what’s going on? No follow-up explosions and it’s five minutes later

One of my biggest wishes for New England this year is more bollards. A driver needs to know that any dangerous or illegal behavior could easily fuck them up. Replace random flex posts with a real bollard. Let’s thoughtfully work to free ourselves from car dependency 🌅
