Visited our local butcher Stepniak Beef this afternoon. Beef sticks, and a smoked Kielbasa. I like living where I can buy locally grown and processed foods. Especially in this age of corporate enshitification (literally, as seen with lettuce).
Yes, it's a very red county. And no, there aren't many ethnic food choices nearby. But living here does have it's advantages: beautiful country, clean air, clean water, local foods, etc.

Gestern habe ich noch ein gutes Video gesehen von Benn Jordan. Schon 1Monat alt 😉.
Aber sehr aktuell.
Wann platzt endlich die KI Blase🤔! (Ist nicht das Thema) 😉 -

@tinebeest Tillykke - congratulations! Such a lovely idea, to celebrate the anniversary of major life changes in this way. Moving country, changing careers - these take courage and hard work and take time. It's a nice idea to celebrate a happy life change each year afterwards, like a birthday. Happy third #GoodLife anniversary to you :-)

Three years ago today I landed in Brussels and after 20+ years in search of education and employment, my globetrotting phase ended.
I celebrate this like a second birthday because it feels as if a got a new lease on a better life.
Coming back home and changing careers was the right decision for me. 0 regrets, 100% satisfaction.
Feel free to celebrate with me! 🍰
