One reason why I don't drive an #Audi #S3 or #RS3 - at least a #GolfGTI is nowadays viewed as "middle aged mans car" and overlooked by the kind of people you *don't* want "admiring" it (as its overshadowed by the #GolfR, which I noped out on as too thirsty and more costly to maintain).
My registration mark also makes my car look older than it actually is..
I also do not leave my keys in easy to find locations, any #burglar would struggle to negotiate my chaotic house in darkness (I live alone, so having a few "trip hazards" around isn't a problem to me)

Britain's real life #WackyRaces 😁 - was fairly entertaining (and proves there aren't that many gains from #tuning unless you go #Stage2 or #Stage3 but not the most scientifically rigorous test (the Desi uncle is in a #GolfR Variant and quite well built chap, thats 150+ kg compared to all the other younger folk, although he still won all the races 😁 ) #cars

As usual a good in depth report from #ITV (who still excel at #crime reporting) - in which they confirm the lad had indeed been #hooning #cars that belonged to his customers, and worse, he didn't even have a valid #driving #licence or #insurance at the time!
He had tried to delete the videos, but the old bill must have put a #Cellebrite set on his phone - they've got a few of them and work with #AdastralPark for stuff like this, there's also a special #Cybercrime unit that #SuffolkConstabulary operate in some rural area like #Saxmundham
I counted 2 * #BMW, a #Mercedes #AMG and a #GolfR in the video (if you own one of these, be very careful who you trust with #detailing / #valeting or even any #repair work!)

Gave the Golf a much needed bath today, hard to believe this August will be 10 years since I picked her up from the dealership.
I also played around with my new Canon RF 85mm f2 to do a sexy wet car photo shoot. Isn't she a beaut?

The gang who nicked the cars posted a video on #SocialMedia to brag about doing this, they appear to have put a registration mark on the #Lamborghini and got as far as #London. The #VW #GolfR was abandoned in #Suffolk and has been recovered by the #Police
