  6. CW: Misogyny

"One Ethiopian woman interviewed by CIR said “no platform feels safe”. The researchers found that while men are attacked online for ideas and opinions, women receive misogynistic abuse related to their appearance and role in society. Threats and intimidation also migrate offline, putting woman at risk of physical attack."

  12. Zwischen Grenzen und Gewalt: Menschenhandel und Prostitution im Kontext von Rassismus und Geschlechterungleichheit

Hilfezentrum The Justice Project, Tuesday, March 17 at 06:00 PM GMT+1

    [↓↓ Deutsche Version unten ↓↓]

As an aid organization with two counselling centers for victims of human trafficking, for women from African countries of origin who have experienced gender-based violence and flight, and for women* who work in prostitution, we experience daily how our clients are exposed to multiple forms of discrimination due to their origin and gender.

The event aims to highlight, illuminate, and provide deeper insights into the realities of life for these particularly vulnerable groups, who are often overlooked in our society.

The Justice Project eV is active in Karlsruhe with two specialist advice centers for victims of human trafficking, for women from African countries of origin who have experienced gender-based violence and flight, and for women* in prostitution.

To meet the diverse needs of its clients, the organization offers a comprehensive support system. This includes client-centered counseling, outreach work in the sex work industry, a drop-in center for women working in prostitution, a shelter for victims of human trafficking, and group programs. In this way, clients receive holistic, accepting, and needs-based support.
