Insight 1: I'm not as young as I used to be. I signed up for 6 4-hour shifts over the 4-day weekend. I probably should have kept it at 4, one per day. I ended up being exhausted after most of the days, not able to enjoy some days as much as I wanted. I slept much of Monday, just recovering.
That being said, I didn't have a set agenda this year. I spent a couple days just palling around with friends. That was nice.

I know what you were waiting for! A post-script on my #GenCon2024 experience.
This is the first year I worked as a demoer for Flat River Group. Basically, other companies hire FRG to do demoing and retail at conventions, because its hard to do all that yourself. (Speaking from experience here.) So, I demoed three board games for them: Captain Flip, Spotlight, and Redwood, from 3 different companies.
