Just received a sample sheet from a Canadian artist paint manufacturer, Kroma.
Amazing how, after all these years, I still get excited about beautiful pigments! #stoked
Mmm:
▪ ultramarine violet
▪ cobalt teal
▪ quinacridone red
▪ nickel azo yellow

I had one of those days where I just couldn't get into my artwork because I was too preoccupied with social media for my own good. 🤣
Late this evening, I finally got myself to work in my sketchbook which inevitably lead me to the gel plate to play with some paint and pull some prints.
This was my favorite of the evening. I just adore the grunge.

I had one of those days where I just couldn't get into my artwork because I was too preoccupied with social media for my own good. 🤣
Late this evening, I finally got myself to work in my sketchbook which inevitably lead me to the gel plate to play with some paint and pull some prints.

Been stuffing my brain with collage and #printmaking inspiration for weeks …
... and just woke up from a nap with my brain excitedly spewing a dozen original print technique application ideas. OMG. Combining #collograph #gelliPrint #dieCuts #stamping #reliefPrint #stencilling #collage ...
Like trying to catch and keep snowflakes! 😂
The harder part is making it happen 😁

OMG! I finally had success doing a gel print transfer from a laser print!! I turned a photo I took of my cat with a comic book style filter into a print! This is so fun!
