Checking compatibility. #GBBoy Seal of Approval earned. Even though their clocks run fast the game stays in sync due to how it uses the 4 Player adapter.
Q: Is that older GBBoy Colour with a very scratched screen actually a color console?
A: No! They just changed light grey to red on the LCD! -
Did an very basic clock speed test between a couple oem Game Boy devices and clones.
AP and Duck come out well, at least over a 17 minute time period.
FPGBC is still a bit fast with the latest board and FW rev (1.06)
Stock GBBCs a little slow, but less off than FPGBC.

Caved in and got the rest of the clone to end all #GameBoy clones ("16Bit HD Ultra SNES Pocket"). Already had the "GB Extension converter" on top which accepts standard GB/C carts.
Basically a large docked version of the #GBBoy Colour + HDMI out (can also play SNES games). The aspect ratio is a off some, but tolerable. The screen is ok but limited viewing angles.
Since the GBBC is mostly understood to be a stolen GBC cpu copy the accuracy isn't really a topic as with other clones.
