I've got a theory brewing about the mystery button on the back of the leaked Switch 2 joycons…
What if both camps are right? It could be that when connected to the console it simply acts as the release button. But when using a single joycon alone, it can become a second trigger (much like the game cube only has one set of double triggers)

We might see the first shipping game to use Unreal's Mega Lights this weekend. Fortnite Chapter 6 will most likely be running off UE 5.5 or newer code, and they have used "experimental" features there before. Remember, this is Epic's showcase game, the only one they make.
I also expect the difference between PS5 and PS5 Pro to become more pronounced with the new chapter, with hardware Lumen being enabled on the consoles finally

Updating my Switch 2 predictions, I'm going to take my guess from last year and add one. I'll now wager we'll see it launch on 4-4-2025.
Going off my prior thoughts, the latest rumors about "March 2025 at the earliest", and the last Switch being released on a Friday too.
Acknowledgement with minimal details around June (maybe March still), reveal in Sept with first couple games teased, full reveal in Jan

My predictions for Xbox announcement this week:
- Consoles will still be released, not going software only
- They might even go so far as telling us a year to expect their next revision(s)- Most 1st party games will launch exclusive to Xbox, but after 6-18 months, they will come to PlayStation and Nintendo. Much as Sony does with PC now
- A handful of games will be multiplatform day one, like Call of Duty & Minecraft. Halo too maybe 🤔
