New strip! Continuing with the escape attempts by the protagonists. The idea came up before sleep and it was complex to put down into a single 1:¹/₃*sqrt(2) page.

I'm working on the new chapter. I like to give the comic a more "puzzely" direction. Where slice of lifes and adventures are oriented on puzzle and enigmas to solve. That would make sense when we will arrive there.

Here we can see an alternative to the previous time Onion and Leek were found. Looks like a good throw on carisma was enough.

The two were caught and put in a cage. Leek lost his book and all the spells contained in it. As his main tool of hunting and survival went away, so did his morale.
What's their destiny, is it to get eaten by the crows, or something worse. Or something better? As a crow got there to liberate them.

Another plan is failing, and this time Onion life is on stake. Leek never prepared for this and the situation seems grim for the two. He has to find the spell and apply it succesfully first try.
That's not going to happen and the flower saved Onion from combustion as it seems.

On the other side, it seems like the crows are having troubles. They are predators but, as Leek was saying some strips ago, they are too many and too much organised for catching two critters for food. It is more effort than reward.

Onion decided to start with a new plan. At this point escaping is the best option for survival and, luckily, there is a good way to do that... as Onion's voices told him.
