Tonight, the #Moon is right in the body of the #constellation #Virgo in its #Waxing #Gibbous #Phase. I think its another nicely detailed #photograph of the #lunar surface and you can really make out quite a lot of features on this #cropped #image. #ISO 250, F5.7, #ShutterSpeed: 1/800 s and #FullZoom

More #Moon capers. Here are a couple of #photographs taken with different #ShutterSpeeds. Both in fully #ManualMode with F5.7. Images are at #FullZoom.
The first is at 1/2 s. Here you can clearly see the dark part of the surface but the lit side is rather overexposed.
The other is at 1/40 s and the lit side is in much better detail. You can discern craters and the roughness of the terminator.
