Welp it's the first time I've actually ruined a large piece of a garment by making multiple mistakes and having to rip out and then re-rip them out when I inexplicably mess them up a different way.
I think I need to cut out a completely new right front, pocket, and flap and start again.

Very recently I've been struggling with how to #prioritize my personal #projects and still haven't found a solution. This interestingly didn't lead to me jumping from project to project, but rather doing nothing. No #progress at all, which is even more #frustrating…

Mother looked after our cat and plants for the past week while we were away. We're very grateful.
But she can't just do as she's asked. She dug out the small watering can that is too little instead of using the milk bottles as asked. She bought a brush for the cat because "your one was too small". And left a (new?) litter scoop here instead of just using ours.
All small things, but part of a pattern. She house sat for us once for 5 days and bought storage units and reorganised my partner's underwear, unasked.
And she chronically feels unappreciated and takes everything as criticism so I don't think I'll say anything to her. But next time I'll just pay a stranger to come and feed the cat.

More and more #PublicTransit agencies have their own reloadable plastic cards instead of paper tickets. I have a collection from numerous cities. What almost all of them #fail in, is writing the name of their #city or area onto the card.
That is #frustrating. It is unclear from looking at the pile of Tap, Arc, Compass, Charlie, Presto, or Whatnot cards, where they could be useful.

There's no way... after all the repairs, I still cannot print anything larger than a few centimeters with my #creality #ender5 #3Dprinter... part of the #brim (and of the first layer as well) refuses to #stick to the #printbed. I can level the print bed and have the four angles at the right distance from the #nozzle (in fact the first extrusion sticks perfectly) but then the center is too low. I can place a little sheet of paper under the mat at the center of the print bed and then the center is ok, but some places around are lower... It's very #frustrating, and I really don't know what to do at this point... -

A definite quality of life improvement in FreeCAD was to set the sizes of the points in a sketch a LOT bigger. The default is 5 px which on my 4k screen was about 0.2 mm and almost impossible to hit. Trying to set up constraints was so bloody frustrating as lining up the mouse pointer on a point took ages. Much better now, could go even bigger than 20 px.

Is the notification list on everyone elses apple iDevices getting progressively worse or is it just me?
For a while now, if im just scrolling through my notifications if i dont unlock the phone fully it will periodically re-collapse all of the notifications even if im actively scrolling. I think this ones on me, because i didnt unlock… the phones just doing its thing.
But now even if i unlock it, if im scrolling through notifications, clearing them out or reading the previews, whatever, it’ll FREQUENTLY scroll to the top of the list like it got a new notification.
I get that this sounds nit-picky, but for a long time ive used Apple devices because for the most part they just work, and dont lead to frustration unless i’m trying to do something apple doesnt think I should be allowed to do (which happens enough that its, in itself, annoying, but the phone has been so trouble free other wise that I let that slide).
Just venting i guess.

@drdrang @siracusa Call it #hearsay, but a friend shared his #frustrating #experience with a 1 y/o #MacBook Air. The #SSD failed mid-video edit, so he went to the #AppleStore in #NYC. At the #GeniusBar, the tech said (paraphrased): “If you came yesterday, your #warranty would cover it. Today it’s $700. Better to buy a new one.”
Hard to square with all those stories of happy #Apple #customers who were #overjoyed when the company went the extra mile to keep them #SatisfiedCustomer

Another paper is with #MethodsInPsychology at #Elsevier submitted in the middle for February.
6 months later and it doesn't even have a second #reviewer yet.
I am an advocate of #SlowScience but that is not what I meant by it :(

Tried to print shipping labels from #dhl ... so exhausting.
I filled out the forms, then it said I need to enter a "real country of destination", it's USA and a drop down menu. Don't know how I can go wrong, anyway while I dealt with that, it logged me out, because I was "inactive for too long" and the label I had in my cart got deleted too...It's like they don't want us to use their services...
