FreeBSD 14.5 Beta 1 is now live!

The first beta version of FreeBSD 14.5, BETA1, is now live and available for download to the public for those who like testing pre-release operating systems. This version of FreeBSD brings many improvements to come.

The ISO images can now be downloaded using the below button. It will take you to the file list that lets you select what kind of image you want to download, in terms of architecture, install source, and image type.

The release schedule for FreeBSD 14.5, which describes the expected deadlines to meet for every release stage, such as the second beta which will be released next week, can be located here.

FreeBSD 14.5 brings security fixes and other fixes to essential and other system components to ensure that both stability and security are guaranteed.
