Surprise: Update of my Samsung Phone to #android 15 left me without a usable phone app. Why ?
Here it goes: I installed #FossifyPhone and set it up as phone app. After the first boot into Android 15 I was not asked for the PIN of my SIM card and I could not do any phone calls. Switching back to the system phone app (com.google.phone) solved that problem. But switching back to the #FossifyPhone app was blocked by the system. Reason and a joke iirc: "This app could access all your data and send it anywhere". The joke is: of course, the standard phone app does not send any data anywhere😮
Solution: goto Apps, select the #FossifyPhone App. There is a 3-dot menu on the right upper corner. Select the only option (something with "restricted") amd voila the switch to the #FossifyPhone app works☺ -
